Can anyone please share their experience recovering from anorexia? Also, how did you cope with the voices in your head telling you that you were fat? Any advice you would give to an anorexic struggling to recover? Please share any, and all, details if you can.

Thanks

I am recovering from anorexia an do not know what is normal. I almost end up binging. Then i freak out that i have become a binger. Is it normal to eat so much and will it mellow out and how do i know when i have “stabelized” with my eating and metabolism. I have been like this since around the middle of december

I am recovering from anorexia already, I just want to know if I will get any benefits other than being healthier in my mind and weight.

Will my cold hands & feet cure? Will I get more energized? Will I have moist skin? Will I stop obsessing?

So far in my weight gain I have not experienced any of the above.
Will I ever do?

im a recovering anorexic and i dont know how many calories i should be consuming if my metabolism is pretty slow. i exercise everyday but not too much. i do about 30-40 mins of powerwalking and some weight training. how many calories do i need if i have exercise in my daily routine? and what should i be eating, how much of it and how often while recovering from anorexia?

Ok, so i am in this partial hospitalization program for anorexia recovery. Right now, i am 5′4, 17 years old and 81lbs (i gained a pound this week! which is good, i guess). Anyways, the doctors there want me to reach around 100-105lbs and they see this as an ideal weight. However, i have always been very thin (i have never weighed over 87lbs– i continued to grow in height, but failed to gain weight). The idea of weighing 100 lbs really kind of scares me, but i want to get out of this program so i can go back to school and have my normal life again. I also know in my heart that i need to gain weight, but 20lbs seems like so much. Is 100-105 still thin for my height and age? The idea of gaining 20lbs scares me, and im afraid i will look and feel totally different. I am just really dreading it, because the doctors expect me to gain 1-3lbs a week, (they give you meal plans and calorie increases, but it seems like some of the girls in the program have to eat a ridiculous amount of food) or i will have to go inpatient. Can anyone help me calm down? I’m feeling really anxious and uneasy about all this
