Anorexia Recovery & Treatment

I’m in college and one of my close friends has anorexia. She had a history of anorexia in high school and admits to it being a problem. She hasn’t eaten anything in over five days. Her parents are part of the problem so I can’t ask them for help and the campus heath center doesn’t deal well with eating disorders. (they would just put her on medical leave and I think going home would just make it worse) telling her she’s going to die if she doesn’t eat won’t work, because I think she is suicidal. what do i do?

Can anyone please share their experience recovering from anorexia? Also, how did you cope with the voices in your head telling you that you were fat? Any advice you would give to an anorexic struggling to recover? Please share any, and all, details if you can.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 weeks now, and last week my best friend dragged me in to see the school psych for anorexia. I still haven’t told my boyfriend and don’t know how to since it’s a new relationship and all.

ok, so my friend, in new york just found out that she has anorexia. she says that she stopped eating, made herself puke and cut herself from depression (she moved from california to new york). wat should i do to help her? i really dont want to lose her.

My 13yo cousin (male) has developed acute anorexia. And is now in the very early stages of recovery. He has asked me to get him some literature on the problem with particular attitention to how other people recovered from the problem. Can anyone give me advice on the subject?
