Does constant overeating count as an eating disorder? what do you call it if one overeats on purpose? What if it’s NOT on purpose.. if they feel SO hungry all the time that they eat and eat and eat until they throw up because they NEVER feel full, but it’s a mental thing, not a lack of physical fullness?
What eating disorders exist besides anorexia nervosa, bulemia nervosa, and PICA?

What would be a good research question to ask about anorexia nervosa? I’m directing it towards teen girls.

I have had anorexia for 2 years now, still do. I used to be in recovery and see doctors etc but stopped going. I do want to recover eventually, just not yet. Anyway, when I do recover, I would really like to help those with eating disorders. Am I technically allowed? Assuming I’m completely recovered?

I have anorexia but that’s not really about this but it has caused me to eat very slowly.
I only allow myself to have one meal a day which is normally a bowl of cereal and some fruit. For some reason or another the OCD caused from ana has made me eat very very slowly, taking very long chews and pauses between bites and stuff. It can be between 2 and a half to almost four hours to finish the cereal and fruit.
Obviously anorexia affects your health, but does eating very slowly on its own cause problems?

I’ve never quit understood. I know the whole purpose of Anorexia is to starve yourself… but wouldn’t you become desperate of food? If you have had personal experience, please explain to me how they can possibly go this long feeling starved!
