Question by Gabrielle: How can I hide my anorexia and wierd eating habits from my parents?
I’m 13 years old. I have anorexia and i only eat about 400 calories a day. My parents are getting suspicious because i never eat and im always exercising. What are some things i can do to hide it from them!?

I heard on a tv show a few weeks ago that binge eating was more dangerous than anorexia or bulimia but i can’t really seem to find any info…help!

Anorexia refers to the psy condition when people do not eat because they have a distorted body image.
But what is the name of the condition when someone does not want or cannot eat, and this is not related to his body image, i.e. has other psy reasons?
How do I find more info on non-anorexia related under eating?
Well, here is what I am trying to research: my friend separated from her bf, it was her decision, but has since lost her appetite. She is now too thin, and fully ackowledges she has to eat, but she can’t: nothing will go down, aside from some milk and cookies or a banana.
She also started having panic attacks, and that wears her out totaly, as she is so thin.
So this is what I am trying to research, how to make her eat again, what could be the reasons (is separation good enough reason?) etc.
Only I keep coming up with anorexia nervosa pages…

What are people doing to slove the problem of eating disorder?

Does constant overeating count as an eating disorder? what do you call it if one overeats on purpose? What if it’s NOT on purpose.. if they feel SO hungry all the time that they eat and eat and eat until they throw up because they NEVER feel full, but it’s a mental thing, not a lack of physical fullness?

What eating disorders exist besides anorexia nervosa, bulemia nervosa, and PICA?
