My 17 year old daughter has anorexia, and she is just now accepting that she will need some treatment. However, she is very worried about how this will affect her University applications, especially as she is set for Cambridge. Her As work so far has never been lower than an A grade, and she is incredibly bright, but unfortunately this has happened…. If she misses a lot of school to recover, will she get compensation with her AS results? Will Cambridge even look at her if they know her medical history?

My 13 year old daughter has anorexia. She is currently in hospital being fed by a nasal tube. She is also needing to eat food from a daily menu plan. Her weight dropped to 35 kg, she is 164 cm. As her mother, I am devastated she has anorexia and can’t help but blame myself. I need to give up work to help her with her recovery. There just seems no light at the end of the tunnel.
