Does constant overeating count as an eating disorder? what do you call it if one overeats on purpose? What if it’s NOT on purpose.. if they feel SO hungry all the time that they eat and eat and eat until they throw up because they NEVER feel full, but it’s a mental thing, not a lack of physical fullness?

What eating disorders exist besides anorexia nervosa, bulemia nervosa, and PICA?

  1. Mackenzie says:

EDNOS- eating disorder not otherwise specified

and constant overeating is considered an eating disorder

  2. Brooke says:

emotional overeating (or compulsive overeating) where you either eat to cope or numb whatever emotions you feel, or you binge eat, even when you know your not hungry. eating until you feel sick but you don’t throw up the food you’ve eaten.

if you eat constantly because you never feel full, then you may not have an eating disorder but something wrong with the chemicals in your brain not telling your body when your full. either way, a doctor appointment would be very helpful
