I am trying to overcome anorexia and it is so hard. i’ve been in recovery about a year and i really have my ups and downs. Yesterday i ate barley nothing, which i knew was really bad. So today i was extra hungry but i feel like i ate way to much! Im supposed to have dessert twice a week, so i had to have it tonight and now i feel like i binged. Please help.
Breakfast-
Cinnamon Fiber Oatmeal- 160 calories
1 pack of raisins – 45
1 banana
Lunch-
1 portabello and mixed vegtable sandwhich on cuban bread
1 fruit salad (grapes, sliced strawberry and pineapple.
Dinner-
1 house salad- no dressing
1 whole wheat roll
2 panseared crab cakes w/ a side of green beans and carrots
dessert-
1 slice of homemade apple pie
The dessert is part of my meal plan, but i feel like i ate way to much today. Im supposed to be up to 2800 calories and i feel like i exceeded that. I just need some advice from people who arent trying to influence me. Did i eat to much?? And please be kind, this is really hard to deal with. Thanks in advance =]]

    Um, if your target is 2800 id actually eat more.
    Breakfast by my count: 160+100(big banana)+100(raisins) – 360
    Lunch (a vegetable sandwich? what size? this is most likely less than 600) + fruit salad (200 tops) – 800
    Dinner (a dressingless salad? uh 200 tops here) + roll (150 tops) + crab cakes? (no idea here – ill just assume a ridiculous 400) – 750
    Desert (depends on size of pie – maybe 300 here) – 300
    This doesnt meet 2800.
    Go eat another piece of pie and stop freaking out :)

    No, you didnt eat too much. Maybe during dinner you could either choose a salad with a small side, like one crab cake, or go just for the crab cakes n veggies…no salad (which is worse for you, but still ok).
    Other than that, I noticed what your eating is actually quite nutritious, which is awesome. You can eat a lil too much of something thats good for you and you dont have to worry, your body will take care of it. Try to see that its not ALWAYS quantity as much as it is quality. Good foods will speed you up and keep you in shape. Whereas bad food, like oils n such, will just slow you down.
    The foods you ate I can see have a good amount of fiber, and protien. Good job! Hope I could help!
